Construction of Metallurgical Engineering Specialty and Curriculum System for Talent Training

Abstract

 
Panzhihua has unique advantages in iron and steel, vanadium and titanium resources. The Metallurgical Engineering major of Panzhihua University is established based on the comprehensive development of resources. In line with the purpose of "based in Panzhihua, facing the west", it is necessary to cultivate advanced application-oriented professionals in production and management for regional economic construction, and the hardware and software conditions are feasible. Combining resource advantages and employment characteristics, a curriculum system of basic course modules of metallurgical majors with vanadium and titanium resources, modules of iron and steel metallurgy and modules of nonferrous metallurgy is constructed.
